After signing the contract, we prepared the goods for the customer as quickly as possible, organized the logistics fleet to deliver the goods to the customer at the
project site in Nigeria’s OSUN state and started the installation, but with the global spread of the new corona epidemic, Nigeria also soon began a nationwide isolation.
In the impression of the domestic people, the isolation of the city means suspension of work, production and classes, and the prohibition of the movement of personnel.
However, in Nigeria, the actual situation is not the case. Although the government requires people in the city to be isolated at home, many people are still go out for livelihood with various reasons. In terms of mobility and work, many projects that have already started in Nigeria have not been completely shut down, but have reduced the scale of construction and the number of construction personnel. Our customer’s construction site is no exception, although the general contracting and subcontracting management parties are all The safety management of on-site personnel and epidemic situation has been strictly strengthened, but everyone still faces the risk of cross-infection with all kinds of personnel every day and continues to work on site.
We are not only to honor a promise to our customers, but also to enable customers to move into the temporary construction camp provided by Chengdong as soon as possible. Our Chengdong people did not rest for a day during and after the closure of the city, and finally completed before the end of April, The client officially moved into the new camp in early May.
