Camp profile
The Abidjan Port, is located in Côte d’Ivoire. The port is an important container transshipment port in West Africa. In recent
years, the port’s throughput has developed rapidly, but currently there is only one container terminal, which limits the further development of the port. After expansion,
the annual throughput capacity can reach 1.22 million TEUs and become the largest port in West Africa, which will greatly promote the country’s economy.
Camp introduction
The camp covers an area about 27 hectares and it’s about 4.5 nautical miles from the dock area. The main buildings in the camp include office,dormitory and other functional buildings.
Guesthouses are light steel villa houses,
other buildings are ZA model.
The land area includes:Concrete mixing plant and prefabricated production area: 80000m²; Office area 14000m²; Chinese living area 32500m²; Local workers living area 4000m²; Reception
area: 13000m²; Cultural and sports activity area: 7500m²; Planting area: 7000m²; Spare area: 7000m².
The production area and living area of the camp use double iron gates as entrance gates, and have a separation between people and vehicles. The right side wall of the
gate sets with a prominent project name and logo, and the left side sets with a video surveillance sign and a sign for entry and exit registration.A 2.5m high brick fence set on the periphery
of the camp, with barbed wire at the top, white in the middle of the wall, blue LOGO printed,atmospheric,safe and beautiful.
Camp feature
①Structural safety: The structure adopts cold-formed thin-walled light steel structure system, which is safe and stable, and the designed wind resistance capacity is level 10;
②Good anti-corrosion: the structure adopts galvanizing and color spraying treatment, which is the best process integrating appearance and anti-corrosion effect currently;
③Patented waterproofing: The roof abandons the traditional self-tapping screw connection method, and adopts the patented structural waterproof design independently developed by Chengdong,
which eliminates the hidden danger of rain leakage after repeated disassembly and assembly of the roof.It has been verified after 15 years practical application;
④ Multiple disassembly and assembly: The number of disassembly and assembly can reach 10 times, and the repetitive rate of disassembly and assembly can reach more
than 98%;
The camp is equipped with two standard outdoor basketball courts, one tennis court, one swimming pool, one football court; two high-standard indoor badminton courts, three
gymnasiums, three table tennis rooms, and four billiard rooms. It can meet the normal usage of people in the camp during off-duty hours.
The building materials of the camp are flame-retardant and fire-resistant. Except for the reception area, all buildings are prefabricated houses with single floor. Keep a
fire safety distance of at least 8 meters between the buildings, which can meet the requirements of fire trucks. 2pcs 4kg ABC dry powder fire extinguishers are provided for
each 60 square building in the camp office area and living area. Fire extinguishers were added to key fire locations such as kitchens and warehouses in the camp.
