Project location: Carabobo State, Venezuela
Project features: Semi-permanent residential camp, high corrosion
Camp area: 25800 m2

Solution

1. Semi-permanent residential design
The domestic relatively mature light steel residential system is adopted and the design life of this type of house is more than 25 years, which meets the requirements of the owner’s part of the barracks as later operating houses.

2. Deal with high corrosive environment
The main components of the house adopt hot-dip galvanized structure and its anti-corrosion performance is better than ordinary spray paint structure.

Outdoor components (such as anti-theft nets, etc.) are treated with dipping.

Dacromet treatment is adopted for all connecting hardware to increase the anti-corrosion effect.

3. Difficulty in construction
Due to the complex structure of the selected house and the difficulty of on-site construction, in order to ensure the smooth delivery of the project to the owner on time, we adopted the form of labor subcontracting and sent a construction team to Venezuela to complete the overall installation task of the project.

4. Structural safety
The first floor of the two-story building adopts the domestic traditional H steel structure system as the load-bearing system, and the second floor adopts the thin-wall steel system, which solves the problem of large span while ensuring the structural safety of the entire building.
