From December 8th to 9th, 2016, the 2016 Industry Annual Conference of the China Chamber of Commerce for Foreign Contractors was successfully held in Nanchang, Jiangxi. The theme of the annual meeting was "looking forward to the global engineering market and discussing industry development trends", which attracted the council members and member companies. Nearly 500 representatives participated.
At this year's annual meeting, there was a new agenda that was particularly eye-catching, and that was the awarding session of the "China Overseas Project
Demonstration Camp" event.
This event is a brand new event guided by the China International Contractors Association, sponsored by "International Engineering and Labor" magazine, and supported by the cooperation of Beijing Chengdong International Camp Integrated Housing Co., Ltd. It aims to reflect the importance of Chinese overseas engineering companies to workers. Humanistic care, highlighting the level of project management of Chinese enterprises, and showing the international brand image of Chinese enterprises. With the careful preparation and organization of the organizing committee over the past year, the first event received a warm response from a large number of Chinese-funded overseas engineering companies, and more than 40 overseas engineering projects actively participated in submissions. After careful discussion and review by the jury, 6 demonstration camps and 6 excellent camps were selected for the award-winning projects.

International Contractors Association, presented grand awards to the winners of the "China Overseas Project Demonstration Site".
Although the first "China Overseas Project Demonstration Camp" event has ended successfully, its impact is still there and it has far-reaching significance. This activity will continue as a regular activity of the contractor’s association every year. I believe that the active development of this activity will effectively promote the corporate culture development of overseas Chinese engineering companies and shape a better international brand image for Chinese companies.
